My main teachings will be centered around classic and modern rock. From The Eagles, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin to Fall Out Boy, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, and Twenty One Pilots. As you will learn however, I design a course of study specific to the goals of the student. I will teach the student any song they want to learn, from any genre!

You can learn more about my teaching philosophy here. I offer patient guidance and material that is guaranteed to get you playing smoothly and easily. I develop lessons that cater specifically to your goals, interests, and learning style. I will break down and make accessible the music you want to learn- please send me any mp3s in advance of our lesson time. I am committed to you getting results in your playing. I will give you a solid foundation and get you playing the music you love as soon as possible. My intent is to keep you inspired and making music.
I have been teaching in the VA area since early 2020, and have taught regularly in other areas for some time now. I have been playing for 37 years.
I would highly recommend you owning your own acoustic guitar at the very least. This will allow you the ability to play whenever you want, and to practice between lessons.
